I have spent over 20 years of my career working directly with patients in the hospital. One thing I found very difficult for patients, was that obtaining foot care was challenging, and wait times were long. This was frustrating as an advocate for those I cared for, and I then wondered how these same people would continue to get foot care once out of hospital. Many of them unable to get to appointments on their own, or had mobility issues on their best days.
Over the course of our lifetime, our feet carry us an average of 184,000kms!! During this time, we inherit conditions through the years that greatly impact our mobility, which in turn, impacts our Quality of Life. As we age, the wear & tear is compounded, the pain is more persistent & every day it becomes a little less bearable, and less motivating to stay mobile.
With all these considerations, Sole Provider was born with the commitment to provide medically safe, professional, non-invasive foot care to each client. I bring high quality care into your home so that you can get what you need in an environment that is comfortable (and familiar) to you. Born and raised in East Vancouver, I’ve been a dedicated nurse since 2002. My career began in geriatrics and pediatric care at BC Children’s Hospital, eventually leading to nearly two decades of experience in Adult Mental Health & Addictions. I later transitioned into a role as an Educator, continuing my commitment to health education and community care.
In 2016, I completed specialized training in Foot Care after identifying a significant need for this service in both hospital and community settings. Since then, I’ve focused on helping clients stay mobile and independent through preventative foot care, education, and personalized support.

FOOT CARE SPECIALIST
Eugene spent the first part of his career as a physiotherapist. He then joined a Health Authority and worked his way to lead the Foot and Ankle Clinic at Providence Health Care.
Soon after, Orthopaedic surgeons saw his talent and requested he join them in the opening of their clinics. He has been a valued member of Sole Provider and many of our clients enjoy his regular visits.
